Sarah's speech the other day waxed lyrical about the beauty of Alaska and America. William Shatner's "reading" of selections from the strikingly poetic speech was moving even in its "satire." I'm referring to his performance last night, July 29, on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien. This was not bad "publicity" in my opinion. And I'm proud to have had a part in all this--at least it seems that way--by referring in my blog to Mrs. Palin's extraordinary "art." She is a super human being in almost a Nietzschean, self-overcoming sense. I really admire and respect her and I root for her.
